Tim McGuire has joined Pointman as its new Vice President of Community Engagement.
The industry veteran brings to Pointman nearly 20 years of experience in the residential home service software industry. In McGuire’s previous role he had varied responsibilities ranging from the creation of support documentation and the delivery of training, customer engagement, and the management of vendor and industry relationships, as well as sales and marketing for a software solution serving nearly 1,000 contractors.
In McGuire’s new role he will be responsible for nurturing and growing the “Community” pillar of Pointman’s unique PACT model. PACT, which stands for Process, Analysis, Community and Technology, represents a change in the traditional home service management space from one focused on software to one focused on providing a comprehensive approach to business growth.
McGuire’s primary task will be to facilitate regular and ongoing interaction — via various online and offline platforms — between and among members about PACT and related/relevant industry topics. The resulting goal is to drive member community engagement through inspirational, insightful messaging and content that connects users with the PACT brand. He will also serve as an advocate for PACT’s member community by serving as the voice of the member within the Pointman organization, specifically by working with the product development and customer success teams.
