• Are you working in an area with bad cell service?  If no, continue.
  • Can you confirm that your VRS account is still activated?  If yes, continue.
  • Can you confirm that the diff profile has been set up properly?  Follow these steps to ensure connectivity:
    • In the PointMan setting apps, under “GPS”, tap the “Edit…” button next to the “Diff” profile drop-down. Note: The “Diff Profile” dialogue box will appear.

  • Select the VRS diff profile and tap the “Edit” button at the top of the dialogue box. Note: The edit button will only appear once you have selected the VRS profile.
  • Verify that all fields have been inputted correctly. Note: The fields are case sensitive.
  • Tap the Refresh icon button next the “Mount” field.
  • From the drop-down list, select the option that includes “RTCM”.
  • Tap the “Test” button at the top right of the dialogue box. Note: A notification will appear at the bottom of the screen.
    • If you receive an “OK” notification, the diff profile has been set up properly. Collect some data and then check the accuracies.
      • If the accuracies still do not meet your requirements, please follow the steps under “I need help now”.
    • If you receive an “Access Denied” notification, the issue lies within the setup of the diff profile or the diff profile account itself. Re-verify that all fields are correct.
      • If all fields appear to be correct, but you are still getting the error notification, try inputting another VRS account, if possible. Otherwise, please follow the steps under “I need help now”.
      • Should the other account also get the “Access Denied” notification, please follow the steps under “I need help now”.
