Overview<\/span><\/h2>\n

The purpose of this section is to show you how to transfer your list of projects in PointMan from one mobile device to another. NOTE: This is not needed if you have a cloud login.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

On your old mobile device<\/span><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Go to the main tablet home page<\/li>\n
  2. Open an app called \u201cMy Files\u201d, \u201cFiles\u201d, or whatever it\u2019s called on your tablet<\/li>\n
  3. Tap \u201cInternal Storage\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. Navigate to the \u201cPointManTE21\u201d folder and tap it<\/li>\n
  5. You should see the \u201ccache\u201d folder. Tap and hold on this until it is selected and then tap the menu on the top right<\/li>\n
  6. Tap \u201cCompress\u201d, \u201cAdd to Zip File\u201d, \u201cZip\u201d or whatever your tablet calls it<\/li>\n
  7. Email this zipped file to yourself. If the file is too big to email, you can either call PointMan support at (970)683-5530 or upload it to a cloud drive.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    On your new mobile device<\/span><\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Download the zipped \u201ccache\u201d folder onto your tablet, either from the email or from the link (if used)<\/li>\n
    2. Open your \u201cMy Files\u201d, \u201cFiles\u201d, or whatever it\u2019s called on your new tablet<\/li>\n
    3. Tap \u201cInternal Storage\u201d and then tap \u201cDownloads\u201d<\/li>\n
    4. When you find the \u201ccache\u201d folder, tap and hold it, then tap the menu button on the top right<\/li>\n
    5. Tap COPY or MOVE<\/li>\n
    6. Tap \u201cInternal Storage\u201d and then tap on \u201cPointManTE21\u201d.<\/li>\n
    7. PASTE or MOVE the zipped folder into here and replace the \u201ccache\u201d folder that is already in there.<\/li>\n
    8. Tap and hold on the zipped \u201ccache\u201d folder, tap the menu on the top right, and unzip or extract the folder.<\/li>\n
    9. If you have 2 folders, one zipped and one unzipped, delete the zipped one, leaving only the unzipped folder<\/li>\n
    10. Close all apps and reopen PointMan. When you login, you should see your projects.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
