To pair:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. In the iOS device settings, go to \u201cBluetooth\u201d and turn it on<\/li>\n
  2. On your Subsite locator\n
      \n
    • Press and hold the \u201cMenu\u201d button<\/li>\n
    • Scroll down using the down arrow key and select \u201cConfiguration\u201d using the \u201cFunction\/Forward\u201d button<\/li>\n
    • Select \u201cSettings\u201d<\/li>\n
    • Select \u201cCommunications\u201d<\/li>\n
    • Select \u201cBluetooth\u201d<\/li>\n
    • Select \u201cConnect\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • On the iOS device, a message should appear asking if you would like to pair with the locator. Note: The locator will appear as \u201cMFLRX_<serial number>\u201d.<\/em><\/li>\n
    • The locator should now be listed under \u201cMy Devices\u201d as connected.<\/li>\n
    • In the PointMan settings panel, select \u201cSubsite\u201d from the \u201cLocator\u201d dropdown field.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      To verify that the locator is properly connected<\/p>\n

      1. In PointMan, select the \u201cNew\u201d button in the top right of the map view<\/li>\n
      2. Select any placemark feature and tap \u201cOK\u201d<\/li>\n
      3. In the bottom bar, enable \u201cGPS\u201d (if it is not already automatically enabled) by tapping on it<\/li>\n
      4. The status menu (the black dialogue box that appears in the top right of the map view) should display \u201cSubsite: on\u201d<\/li>\n
      5. Tap \u201cCancel\u201d and start collecting data!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
