  1. Make sure your firmware on the RD is at least version 1005.<\/li>\n
  2. To check this, pair to the tool and look at what name is displayed in the Bluetooth menu. It will show up as “RD8100_100x”<\/li>\n
  3. This should be at least “RD8100_1005”. If it is not, proceed to the next step<\/li>\n
  4. Open Google and search for “RD Manager” and download it<\/li>\n
  5. Connect your RD to your computer via a USB cable<\/li>\n
  6. Install the latest firmware version (at least 1005)<\/li>\n
  7. Pair as usual and PointMan should now be able to collect using an RD8000\/8100<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n
