To Pair:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Vivax uses Bluetooth Low Energy on iOS, so no initial pairing is needed. Note: The vLocPro2 locator will the need the Low Energy hardware installed to work. <\/em><\/p>\n

  1. In PointMan, open the \u201cSettings\u201d page<\/li>\n
  2. Under \u201cDevices\u201d, tap the dropdown next to the \u201cLocator\u201d label and select \u201cVivax\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To verify that the locator is properly connected:<\/p>\n

    1. In map view, tap the \u201cNew\u201d button in the top right of the screen<\/li>\n
    2. Select any placemark feature and tap \u201cOK\u201d<\/li>\n
    3. In the bottom bar, enable \u201cGPS\u201d by tapping on it<\/li>\n
    4. The status menu (the black information box that appears in the top right of the map view) should display \u201cVivax: on\u201d<\/li>\n
    5. Tap \u201cCancel\u201d and start collecting data!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
